The great delay continues

 I've been in Christchurch over a week now, and our flight continues to get pushed back. At this point flights 038 (mine) and 037 may have been combined, but flight 036 which boomeranged on the 20th still has to go out before us. 

Conversations with my coworkers have been very interesting. Several returning Antarcticans have said that this has been the longest delay in quite some time, and everyone is getting antsy and developing hotel-fever. We all are eager to get out of Christchurch and get to work!

The hope is maybe the 3rd. But weather forecast from on ice look bad again for early next week.
