Weather delays

 It's been a busy few days but now we've entered "Hurry up and wait". A lot of online training, and then trying on my gear has culminated with learning that not only my flight, but the two flights scheduled before me have all been delayed due to ongoing storms and condition 1 weather on ice. I was supposed to fly down today, but I am now delayed untill further notice. So suddenly, I'm on vacation in Christchurch. Not a bad place to be on vacation, my hotel room has been extended through the 27th. I have no information on when I will be flying down yet, but I know flights 2 and 3 have to go out before my flight. 

In the mean time, I'm going to continue to explore Christchurch! Heres what's around my hotel that I've discovered thus far.
