There is a problem.

 Everything I have to post right now, photos, updates, and stories are delayed for the time being. 

As of yesterday morning I learned about a critical problem that's consuming a lot of my attention. There has been an issue with my contract that my bosses and I only just learned about, and I may be leaving Antarctica and heading for the US as soon as October. My bosses are trying to get this sorted out and fixed and keep me here through February and I'm looking for different departments I might be able to get a job in if they can't. I'm staying positive and hopeful, I fought a long fight to get down here and I'm not going to give up that easy. 

It's nothing I did, I'm not in trouble and I didn't screw up, but it's also nothing I really have control over. In a nutshell and really to simplify without getting into the details corporate over hired for my position and want to send me home and send the new hire down to replace me. 

It's not set in stone. It's not a 100% guarantee that I'm going back in October, one of the new hires (and there's several ) might not pass his medical exams, or my bosses will work something out with someone up the food chain, or I'll get a different job in a different department that has a slot to fill, or I'll try to go to pole. But it's not a 100% gurentee I'm staying either, none of that is a definite. 

So I'm busy enacting contingency plans, making connections, and working on options. And hoping. I'll keep you posted the soonest I know anything. Please excuse the delays.
